Trip to Arundel 10 August

34 members had a very enjoyable trip to Arundel today. We arrived around 11.30 and explored the town before the match got underway at 2pm. We played 7 rinks and the weather stayed fair with a good bit of sunshine. We even had a flypast by a WW2 Spitfire (or Hurricane). Peter and Nina Challens visited as did Brenda Greenhill who was visiting her daughter nearby. The fact that we were soundly beaten 147 to 129 did not detract much from the enjoyment with the possible exception of our Captain whose team went down by 18 points! This link will take you to some of the photos of the day.
